Responsible for specific functions as a Lead or single person on site. Activities include organization, scheduling assignments for staff, and managing the daily work flow. Oversees the generation of daily and monthly departmental reports; supervises the processing of external vendor billing. Maintains and promotes positive customer relationships. Performs daily key operator and/or convenience care functions. Requires effective knowledge and use of all established policies, procedures, tools, and equipment. Process transfers, assist in the returns process, conduct physical inventories and support daily cycle counts. Maintain overall organization, cleanliness and security of the Distribution Center while following all safety guidelines. Support all other assigned Distribution Center duties including sorting and proper disposal of equipment packaging for recycling. Overtime is required to support month end and quarter end sales cycles.
Responsible for managing the daily operations of the warehouse functions as specifically assigned, which may include some or all of the following: shipping, receiving, returns processing, order control/order release, delivery/pick-up scheduling, coordination of pre-installations, parts processing (area markets), and overall accuracy of processing and inventories associated with assigned functions.
