This position will work in both marketing and cross-functional teams to develop a strategic marketing communications strategy and execute tactical marketing collateral. Key responsibilities on a strategic level include refining a marketing communication plan that aligns with the overall marketing strategy. On a tactical level, the position will require the creation, development, planning, writing and editing both technical (user manuals, etc.) and marketing documents (campaigns, ads, etc.) for paper, multimedia or web-based publication. Candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences, both written and verbally. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and should have a Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Biology (or similar field) or equivalent work experience and at least 1-3 years of experience working in a similar role. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is expected. Experience utilizing content management systems and digital marketing tools are highly preferred.
