    Position Overview

    Canon Logistics department receives and ships various Canon products. If you are self-motivated and have a strong work ethic this could be the position for you!
    While warehouse experience is preferred, we will provide the training you need to succeed,
    You will report to the Distribution Center Supervisor and take daily assignments from  a Warehouse Lead. Here in the 100,000 square-foot distribution center, we receive and ship a wide mix of Canon consumer and industrial products.


    Utilizing a state of the art Warehouse Management System (WMS) you will perform a variety of duties including: 
    Unload, sort, tag and store merchandise.
    - Retrieve merchandise from stock as listed on the picking list or shipping order.
    - Prepare orders for shipment, which includes packing, weighing and labeling products.
    - Load and off-load trucks following established distribution guidelines and procedures.
    - Assist with monthly stock inventory procedures, verifying that merchandise in stock corresponds to the inventory report.


    - General education and/or vocational training
    - Warehouse experience preferred
    - General computer skills a plus
    - Requires ability to lift and move heavy objects, typicaly up to 50lbs, but occasionally may require the ability to lift more than 50lbs.
    - Ability to work overtime when needed.
    - Work environment is subject to ambient temperature and humidity conditions
    - A commitment to teamwork and strong self-motivation
    - Attention to detail
    Typically you will work Monday through Friday from 7 AM to 4 PM or 8 AM to 5 PM, and you'll need to be willing and able to work overtime, sometimes on short notice. This may include weekends. Overtime is usually required at the end of the month, quarter or year, when volume spikes.
