    Position Overview

    As a Product Planning Specialist you will assist in the planning for the future direction of the imagePROGRAF product line. This is a great opportunity where you will be on the forefront of our new cutting edge technology. 
     
    This is a highly visible position as you will interface with various CUSA depts, subsidiaries regardng new products and how it will affect the markets.

    Responsibilities

    - Your main responsibility will be to manage the Canon Alliance Partner Program (CAPP),  developing, maintaining and fostering relationships with industry partners in an effort to promote the imagePROGRAF brand through our partner channels
    - You will gather feedback from various sources to help in planning future products: industry analysts market research, resellers, dealers, subsidiaries, sales and our call center.
    - You will foster relationships to promote these products via multiple sales channels, while managing the day-to-day activities.
    - Manage Co-marketing activities with the Canon LFP industry partners: create flyers and various co-marketing creating content, manage events, etc.
    -  Manage the various industry partner conferences CUSA exhibits at annually.
    - You will actively work with industry analysts to monitor industry related news and market trends, providing updates to management.
    - Attend trade shows as a dedicated Canon imagePROGRAF representative.
    - Will work with all appropriate groups to coordinate the preparation and launch of new imagePROGRAF large format printer devices.
    - Act as Project Manager for the eCarePAK program, (Canon's extended service program) to grow the program and improve profitability.

    Qualifications

    - Bachelors of Science Degree required, or relevant experience will be considered.
    - 5 years of marketing experience is required. 
    - Industry experience is a plus.
    - Experience in managing industry partners is preferred.
    - Experience with new product launches is required.
    - You must be highly detail-oriented, extremely organized and with the ability to multi-task.
    - Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    - Strong presentation skills are also required.
    - There will be up to 20% domestic travel.  
    - Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
    - Additionally, because this position requires driving for company business as an essential function of the job, must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies.
