    Position Overview

    As a Subject Matter Expert in the Healthcare industry and document workflows, you will be responsible for development of vertical market specific solutions and integrations, engaging with dealers and customers for developing new business opportunities, conducting lead generating events and webinars, participating in industry events and associations, and developing sales tools that communicate Canon's value to customers in the Healthcare industry.

    Responsibilities

    -
    Designs, develops, and implements marketing plans and strategies to effectively expand Canon's business within the Healthcare vertical market in concert with the BISG product division business growth objectives.
    - Identifies unique application opportunities for Canon offered solutions, packaging and promoting such opportunities through available marketing avenues including collateral, sales channels, customer seminars, white papers, and the web.
    - Establishes, maintains and drives relationships with industry specific third party solution providers in an effort to expand Canon's base of solution offerings within the Healthcare marketplace. Through this process, engages in co-sponsored marketing activities, leveraging such activities through varying Canon sales channels.
    - Researches specific vertical market, determining existing and emerging applications. Conducts research using direct customer inquiry, focus group studies, and analyst resources, funneling information to varying Canon product development agencies.
    - Leverages trends and knowledge about the Healthcare vertical market workflows to develop industry specific solutions that complement BISG solutions
    - Represents Canon within industry trade events and specific user groups/trade organizations, ensuring that Canon capabilities are clearly communicated to prospective customers.
    - Works closely with Canon internal product divisions and sales channels to ensure that incremental sales targets are identified and that sales channels are effectively leveraging the activities within the specific vertical market.

    Qualifications

     
    - A Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of four to six years of experience with workflow solutions in the Healthcare industry.
    - The ability to develop business plans, marketing strategy, and forecasts for the Healthcare vertical market.
    - The ability to identify, evaluate and recommend marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives. 
    - The ability to develops marketing plans to promote the vertical expertise and solutions to channel and end market place. 
    - The ability to use skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices, such as vertical marketing, and company policies and procedures.
    - The successful candidate will attend trade shows, conferences, and customer events which will require up to 30% overnight travel.
