    Position Overview

    The Senior Product Control Specialist will ensure appropriate levels of inventory, by forecasting, analyzing, ordering and allocating  inventory to warehouses/regions for 200+ products, accessories and modification parts.

    - Analyzes previous sales trends and forecasts future sales of parts and toner to assist with the development of realistic sales plans and goals.
    - Creates purchase plans, establishing appropriate amount of merchandise to order to ensure adequate levels of inventory are available to achieve sales plan.
    - Determines appropriate product allocation to regional offices, based upon previous sales records, to ensure high volume dealers maintain an adequate level of merchandise in inventory.
    - Monitors availability and inventory levels. 
    - Answers inquiries regarding order status, availability, required dates, order status and the like.
    - Provides technical support and information to customers. 
    - Arranges and tracks all product loans of Portable lenses. 
    - Functions as a liaison between customers and sales staff.


    - You must be bi-lingual in Japanese. A language proficiency will be administered to evaluate this.
    - You must have a high level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. 
    - It is required that the incumbent possesses an Associate or Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Marketing; or relevant work experience will be considered.
    - 5+ years of Sales administration or inventory control experience is also required.
    - You should be well organized and capable of formulating logical resolutions to problems, frequently while in pressure situations.
    - Good verbal and written skills are essential to develop purchasing plans and interact with the various product groups.
