    Position Overview

    If you have strong marketing and planning experience we want to talk to you! Working in the Canon Experience Center, the Marketing Specialist has daily interaction with customers as well as assisting with marketing and planning activities to support and promote our educational programs.


    - Marketing, programming and facility related support for facilities Costa Mesa and Burbank facilities
    - Social Media: Post monthly events, maintain landing pages, manage social media budget
    - Assist with creating marketing materials
    - Review survey responses to assist with planning future events
    - Support student field trips, publicize events, plan events and coordinate logistics
    - Maintain accurate ticketing and event management records
    - Maintain facility supplies (inventory, order consumables, catering, vendor orders)
    - Create powerpoint slideshow to promote monthjly events
    - Communicate with internal and external marketing partners for media schedules, etc
    - Process invoices and other documentation for facility programming
    - Facilitate outreach to target audience groups, process booking and payments


    - Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience required, plus minimum 3 years of related experience.
    - Experience preferred in event production in photo/video industry.
    - Skills include reporting analytics, strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organizational and MS office
    - Must be available to work some weekends and evenings.
