    Position Overview

    The Sr. Software Development Engineer plans, designs, develops and tests software systems and enterprise software applications. Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of technical and business process related factors.

    Responsibilities

    - Leads SW development of enterprise applications. This task involves the management and/or execution of all phases of application development projects, including requirements gathering, design and specification, coding, and testing.
    - Applies business user requirements for use of enterprise applications to determine technical feasibility, and recommends future enhancements.
    - Supports enterprise applications. This task includes planning for system and infrastructure environment working with IT Infrastructure department to support existing and future enterprise applications.
    - Participates in enterprise application road-map and future direction planning. This task includes the analysis of existing applications and IT infrastructure environment, knowledge of technology trends and business user projected needs to recommend to management future direction and process improvements.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent with seven or more years of experience.

    ·SW development and deep technical understanding of designated enterprise sw applications.

    ·Applies deep technical knowledge of sw enterprise applications with understanding of business user requirements.

    ·Owns the design and development of enterprise SW applications.

    ·Reports to Applications Department Head
    ·Participates on project teams consisting of SW developer peers, IT, business users, and management.
