    Position Overview

    The Manager, Finance and Admin will manage general administration and finance to create productive and safe work environment while maintaining financial accountability in a growing organization for developing innovative medical products.  Lead, manage, and grow members of administration team. Create, analyze, and update operating budgets working with other functional managers. Exercises judgment for policies and local procedures and recommends updates accordingly.

    Responsibilities

    - Supervise professional staff members and oversee general administrative responsibilities, including maintaining good work environment, purchasing goods/services, managing account payables, assets and records/documents, finance and accounting matters, lab-wide events
    - Responsible for complex financial accounting matters, and provides in-depth analysis for department senior management, including creating, analyzing and updating lab-wide operating budgets across the entire departments in the lab.
    - Work with corporate finance/accounting department to ensure financial accountability of the organization. 
    - Assess multiple aspects of the lab activities on a regular basis including efficiency, effectiveness, and appropriateness of the existing local procedures and regular practices, and recommend, update and implement updated procedures/practices.
    - Responsible for ensuring operations in compliance with corporate policies
    - Organize external and internal events working with senior management members and internal/external collaborators.

    Qualifications

    - Bachelor's degree or equivalent required
    - 9 - 12 years of relevant experience. 
    - Japanese language skills are highly desired.
