Position Overview

The Marketing  Sr. Specialist is expected to support the marketing on Canon Direct online business mainly, coordinate with various trade shows and events, and also assist other dealers’ marketing activities.  The marketing Sr. specialist will work closely with internal Sales and Digital Marketing Services teams to develop and execute specific marketing plans and activities to support direct sales goal.  Also the position will work closely with external advertising agencies to create and execute online advertising and activities to enhance Canon Direct online business.

Responsibilities

- Support Canon Direct online business strategy alignment and build effective and relevant marketing activities through digital, social, and physical pop-up store to help the sales
- Support Canon Direct online paid and organic marketing effort to implement and measure tactics to drive online direct business
- Create the value-added contents/benefits to maximize the customer online experience on Canon Direct
- Prepare, manage, and distribute A+ contents for Canon Direct specifically
- Collaborate with internal groups, and external agencies to develop marketing materials and activities to support product and promotions
- Support influencers’ program, and develop and execute some holiday specific promotions to drive Direct revenue
- Manage and execute various trade shows and events to build product awareness and provide customer hands-on experience

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience required
- Must have good oral and written communication skills
- Must provide samples of past work
- Must be able to think independently and critically
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to communicate with personnel at all levels
- Photography background is ideal
- Successful candidates must be flexible for 20% overnight domestic travel
