Position Overview

Canon is seeking a Marketing Specialist experienced with technology products, to work with our marketing team, internal Canon customers  channel sales, channel partners, and outside vendors to establish, enhance and distinguish Canon product placement within the Image Capture Solutions arenas.

Responsibilities

- You will support in the execution of planned marketing activities, particularly in the areas of social media, PR, content marketing, sales support, awards and reviews, SEO, collateral material development, product launch support activities, and website updates, maintenance and access management.
- You will also be responsible for the creation of all product launch collateral materials. 
- Update all existing product collateral materials during product lifecycle, ensuring all relevant materials are posted on all websites.
- Monitor and report on website performance.
- Create and maintain social media plans, while monitoring and reporting social media effectiveness.
- You will also act as the point-of-contact for all product launch marketing-related inquiries, website inquiries, social media inquiries, PR inquiries, case study/use case inquiries, award and industry analyst inquiries, as well as video production inquiries.
- You will be the liaison for all dealer-channel related inquiries, distributor AE inquiries and retail AE inquiries
- Monitor and report on distributor program effectiveness.

Qualifications

- 3 - 5 years of relevant experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required, preferably in business administration or marketing
- Technology marketing experience is strongly preferred.
- Product launch / collateral material development experience required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
- Social media / website experience required.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license ;this job requires (10%) driving for company business as an essential function of the job; and you must remain in compliance with company safety guidelines and policies.
- Must be able to obtain credit for related travel expenses (lodging, car rental, meals, incidentals, etc.) which will be reimbursed by Canon in a timely manner.
- Strong communication skills along with strong MSoffice skills are also required.
