Position Overview

Canon BioMedical is currently seeking a Technical Writer, Marketing. This position will work in both marketing and cross-functional teams to develop a strategic marketing communications strategy and execute tactical marketing collateral. Key responsibilities on a strategic level include refining a marketing communication plan that aligns with the overall marketing strategy. On a tactical level, the position will require the creation, development, planning, writing and editing both technical (user manuals, etc.) and marketing documents (campaigns, ads, etc.) for paper, multimedia or web-based publication. Candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences, both written and verbally. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and should have a Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Biology (or similar field) or equivalent work experience and at least 1-3 years of experience working in a similar role. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is expected. Experience utilizing content management systems and digital marketing tools are highly preferred. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented and have highly developed organizational skills; Ability to work independently, quickly and thoroughly to prioritize and complete tasks under multiple deadlines.





  • Creates, develops, plans, writes and edits operational, instructional, maintenance or test procedures for paper, multimedia or web-based publication.
  • Creates, develops, plans, writes, and edits marketing collateral for paper, multimedia or web-based publication.
  • Produces products that conform to the company documentation and quality assurance standards
  • Support the development and execution of a content marketing strategy

  • Due to the travel required for this job, incumbent must possess a valid driver’s license and must be able to obtain credit for related travel expenses (lodging, car rental, meals, incidentals, etc.).
