Position Overview

Located in Burbank, perform on-site or in-house repair of imaging products including Digital SLR Cameras, Lens, Flash, Binoculars, Powershots, EF and FE-S lens, Speedlite Flash, etc.

 

Candidate will train in Costa Mesa before being assigned to work in the Burbank facility.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-house servicing, repair of company products. Perform general maintenance tasks, troubleshoot, repair DSLR Camera, Lens, and Flash system
  • Provide technical support to customers on operational or maintenance aspects of system equipment.
  • Diagnose mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures, using established procedures.
  • Prepare reports for analyses of product failure trends and service ability issues.
  • Work on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment.
  • Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications to provide efficient and responsive service to customers.
  • Generate service revenue by repairing designated equipment.
  • Maintains all technical information and Canon property assigned.
  • Prepare reports and other data for the department to ensure accurate information and recordkeeping.
  • Communicate with supervisor, and other departments if necessary, regarding the solution of technical and/or customer service related problem areas.
  • Perform high demand repair volume to support departmental goal of Turn Around Time

 

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED. 
  • Ability to demonstrate fundamental knowledge of electromechanical equipment
  • Minimum of six months repair experience of camera or optical products or min. of two years of repair experience in the Electronic Field
