Our Intellectual Property Division has an opening for a Patent Attorney.  The primary responsibilities include reviewing and filing provisional and utility patent applications and responding to Office Actions and other USPTO correspondence.  Additional responsibilities include drafting provisional and utility patent applications, performing prior and patentability searches, evaluation of third party patents, and supporting contract and licensing activities.

This position requires 3 years of prior patent/IP experience in the area of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, software, physics, or optics, and you must be registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.  The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills with technical depth and patent expertise, a high degree of attention to detail, an ability to organize assignments, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
